Before you apply

Read this before you apply. It will save us both some time.

This is built for you if

  • You've written goals before and watched them quietly disappear by March.
  • You want a full year of structure, not one more session.
  • You're willing to show up to a pod call every week, including the ordinary weeks.
  • You already have a rough sense of your purpose and want it built into something you can act on.

This is not the right fit if

  • You're looking for one workshop that fixes things in an afternoon.
  • You want company but no structure, a group to talk in rather than a goal to work toward.
  • You can't commit to a weekly call for the next twelve months.
  • You haven't worked through the free session or the workshop yet, since the Cohort builds on that foundation.
How the year is shaped

Four quarters. Four ninety day goals.
One wheel that keeps turning back to you.

Q1 Q2 Q3 Q4 START onboarding

Before quarter one, you get onboarding: your purpose statement, moonshot, and wheel of life, done properly this time, not rushed into the fifteen minutes a workshop allows.

Q1

One ninety day goal, chosen from the area of your wheel of life that needs it most. Weekly pod calls begin. One monthly cohort meeting.

Q2

Reset and go again, now with a working accountability partner and three months of pod calls behind you.

Q3

The pattern is familiar by now. The goal gets harder. The wobble, when it comes, gets shorter.

Q4

The year closes where it began, your wheel of life, scored again, so you can see the shift for yourself.

Every quarter ends with a celebration and reset session before the next one opens.

What is actually included

Not a vague promise. A weekly and monthly rhythm you can actually see on a calendar.

A pod of 3 to 5 people

People who know your goal by name, not strangers in a comment thread.

One accountability partner

Inside your pod, rotating every quarter, so you build a few working relationships across the year, not one.

Weekly pod check ins

Short, regular, and expected. This is the part that actually keeps a goal alive.

Monthly cohort meetings

The whole cohort together, to check in, appreciate progress, and talk through what is actually hard right now.

Quarterly celebration and reset

Every ninety days closes with a real session marking what happened, not a silent scroll to the next goal.

Full community access

Included in the price for the whole year, not sold to you again later as an add-on.

A message from the founder
Divesh, founder of Purposegenie

I wrote the seven steps after watching capable people, myself included, set goals every January and lose them by March. Not from a lack of discipline. The goals were rarely theirs to begin with. We choose careers, cities, even ambitions, by what looks right to everyone watching, and then wonder why reaching them never quite feels like winning.

A goal that comes from your own purpose survives an ordinary Tuesday. A goal borrowed from somewhere else rarely does. That difference is the entire reason this cohort exists, and why I want to spend this year building it with you.

Questions

Frequently asked

I already did the workshop. What is different here?
The workshop gives you the shape of the seven steps in an afternoon. The Cohort is where you actually do the work, with a full year to build it into something real, a pod to hold you to it, and four ninety day cycles instead of one afternoon.
What if I skip straight to this without the workshop?
You can, but the Cohort assumes you already have a rough sense of your purpose statement, moonshot, and wheel of life from the workshop. Without that groundwork, onboarding will take longer, so we would rather you had that foundation first.
What happens if I miss a weekly pod call?
You catch up with your pod at the next one. One missed call will not derail your quarter. A pattern of missed calls will, since the pod is the point.
What happens after the 12 months end?
You will have a completed year, four closed goal cycles, and a clear read on your wheel of life compared to where you started. What comes next, a new cohort or working independently, is a decision we make together near the end of month twelve.
Is this a support group or a program?
Both, in the sense that a good program needs people who show up for each other. But it is not an open ended discussion group. Every meeting ties back to your ninety day goal.
How much time does this actually take each week?
One pod call, roughly an hour, plus whatever time your ninety day goal itself asks of you. The program does not add work on top of your goal, it structures the work you would be doing anyway.
Can I choose my own accountability partner?
No. Partners are matched within your pod and rotate each quarter, so you build a few different working relationships across the year rather than one.
Is this only for a certain kind of goal, like career or health?
No. Your ninety day goal each quarter can come from any area of your wheel of life, whichever one scores lowest against where you want to be.
